A member of the Oxford University rowing crew has been reported missing after the team's boat capsized in Spain.

The incident happened on Friday morning during high winds on the River Ebro, where they had been training.

The eight remaining crew members were all rescued and taken to hospital, where they are being treated for hypothermia.

Firefighters and troops are continuing to search for the 20-year-old oarsman, who has not yet been identified by police.

The dangerous wind - which was measured at 110kph (68mph) - prevented helicopters from joining the search.

The Oxford crew won this year's annual University Boat Race against Cambridge on London's River Thames.
