Pole banned from Olympics
Polish weightlifter Szymon Kolecki misses the Athens Games after a second positive test for the anabolic steroid nandrolone.
Polish weightlifter Szymon Kolecki will miss the Athens Games after a 'B' sample confirmed a positive test for the anabolic steroid nandrolone.

The Pole, who won silver in the men's middle heavyweight class (94kg) at the Sydney Olympics, tested positive on June 26 for the banned substance.

"Kolecki has to forget about the Olympics," said Marek Golab, of the Polish Union of Weightlifters.

Kolecki becomes the fourth Polish lifter to be banned from the Games.
