Wilkshire to lead Socceroos
Bristol City's Australian midfielder Luke Wilkshire
Wilkshire has missed the beginning of City's League campaign
Bristol City midfielder Luke Wilkshire has been handed the captain's armband for Australia's Olympic quarter-final against Iraq on Saturday.

Wilkshire will stand in for suspended Rangers defender Craig Moore.

"Just playing in the Olympics is special enough, but being captain is a terrific honour to have," he said.

"So far, the experience has been good - however, the best experience we can have here is to win the gold medal," the 22-year-old told City's website.
