Australian cyclist Ryan Bayley claimed his second gold medal in two days when he won the men's keirin on Wednesday.
Spain's Jose Escuredo took the silver medal while Germany's Rene Wolff took his second bronze having finished third behind Bayley in the sprint.
France's Mickael Bourgain fell badly in the sprint finish but did not appear to be seriously injured.
German Jens Fiedler was eliminated in the semi-final, ending his quest for a unique fourth cycling gold.
Australia now have eight gold medals from the track cycling programme - five of them gold.
