Work on the Olympic stadium roof will be finished by mid-May

Greek officials insist the Olympic stadium roof will be finished on time despite missing another key deadline.
The International Olympic Committee had stipulated that the roof's two supporting arches would have to be in place by 28 April.
That has not happened, but Athens organisers claim they are saving time by fitting roof panels to the arches while they are still on the ground.
"By the end of June the stadium will be delivered," said Fani Palli-Petralia.
"The covering would have been a source of delay, but that's not the case now because 80% of the work is finished."
Palli-Petralia said the arches could start to be moved by next week and should be in place by mid-May.
The arches can only be moved on a clear day when there is no wind in order to prevent them from breaking apart.
