Work on the Olympic stadium roof has been delayed

Athens Olympics organisers face a race against time to erect the domed roof above the Olympic stadium.
The International Olympic Committee has said the fixing of two roof-supporting arches must take place by Wednesday.
If not, the IOC claims the Games'
architectural centrepiece cannot be completed in time for the start.
The work on the roof has been delayed several times, and a government official said: "It's still not decided exactly when the sliding will start."
