Leeds pair spearhead home challenge
Leeds United strikers Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka have both been named in the Australian soccer squad for next month's Sydney Olympics.
British-based players make up the bulk of the squad, but it does not include Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich who ruled himself out of the tournament.
The 18-man contingent includes just five Australian-based players. Dutch-based midfielder Brett Emerton is captain.
Meanwhile, Amsterdam side Ajax are refusing to release their injured Australian Olympians Joey Didulica and Jason Culina for a pre-Games camp until they are fully fit.
Didulica, the Olyroos number one goalkeeper, has a back injury, while midfielder Culina has hamstring trouble.
Australia are drawn in Pool B with Atlanta gold medallists Nigeria, Italy and Honduras.
The full squad is: Con Blatsis (Derby County, England), Marco Bresciano (Empoli, Italy), Simon Colosimo (Carlton, Australia), Jason Culina (Ajax, Holland), Michael Curcija (Partizan Belgrade, Yugoslavia), Joe Didulica (Ajax, Holland) Brett Emerton (Feyenoord, Holland, capt), Hayden Foxe (West Ham United, England), Vince Grella (Ternana, Italy), Harry Kewell (Leeds United, England), Stephen Laybutt (Feyenoord, Holland), Stan Lazaridis (Birmingham City, England), Danny Milosevic (Leeds United, England), Lucas Neill (Millwall, England), Paul Okon (Middlesbrough, England), Nick Rizzo (Ternana, Italy), Mark Viduka (Leeds United, England), Kasey Wehrman (Perth Glory, Australia).
