BBC Sport Online's daily look back at when things did not go entirely to plan at the Olympics.
During the 1984 Los Angles Olympics, one boxer never made it to the starting gate. Eduard Paululum was scheduled to be the first-ever Olympic competitor from the small Pacific island nation of Vanuatu. Unfortunately Paululum ate a large breakfast before the weigh-in and was disqualified for being one pound overweight.
