Harrison's gold: Round-by-round
Audley Harrison and Paulo Vidoz
Audley Harrison (left) stands on the threshold of history
Audley Harrison beats Mukhtarkhan Dildabekov on points

Round One: Harrison immediately establishes himself in the centre of the ring, but it is Dildabekov who lands the first scoring punches. But the big Britain roars back in the final 30 seconds and forces his opponent to take a standinmg eight count. Harrison finishes the round 3-2 up.

Round Two: Harrison is totally in charge, landing jabs and even his injured left hand at will. By the end of the round, his opponent is finding it impossible to get past the big jab. Harrison leads 9-4 at the conclusion.

Round Three: By far and away the best round of the contest, with Dildabekov rushing out and reducing the deficit to a point, before Harrison hits back, the two slugging away till the bell. Harrison leads 18-12 at the end.

Round Four: Harrison extends the gap to ten points with some superb flurries. The 28-year-old has to absorb a couple of big rights but is still scoring. A huge body attack increases his lead and the score at the final bell is 30-16.
