Video - Second wrestling gold for Batirov
Russia's Mavlet Batirov won his second straight Olympic freestyle wrestling title, adding the 60kg gold to his 55kg winning medal in 2004.
The 24-year-old narrowly outpointed Ukraine's Vasyl Fedoryshyn in two periods of the best-of-three match, to win 3-1 overall.
Batirov, who is also the reigning world champion, is Russia's fourth wrestling gold medallist in Beijing.
Iran's Seyedmorad Mohammadi and Kenichi Yumoto of Japan took a bronze each.
