Video - Dominant Lopez wins men's 120kg gold
Cuban wrestler Mijain Lopez added the Olympic title to his world crown with victory in the 120kg category.
The 25-year-old teacher from Havana, who was warned for tripping at one stage, beat Russian Khazan Baroev in the final, winning 3-1 on points.
Lopez threw the 2004 gold medallist for a five-point move in the first period and won the second on a tiebreaker.
Armenia's Yuri Patrikeev and Mindaugas Mizgaitis of Lithuania both won bronze medals.
"All this has to do with physical preparation that all the athletes get and you reach a certain level in time," said Lopez. "But to reach the final in an event of this category is something very, very special."
