US men's pair see off Switzerland

Defending world champions Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser returned to winning ways in the men's beach volleyball tournament against Switzerland.

The American duo eased past Sascha Heyer and Patrick Heuscher 21-15 21-10.

Dalhausser and Rogers were beaten by 23rd seeds Aleksandrs Samoilovs and Martins Plavins of Latvia on Saturday, ending a 21-match unbeaten run.

Compatriots Nicole Branagh and Elaine Youngs saw off Germany's Okka Rau and Stephanie Pohl 21-17 21-16.
