Video - China's men power to table tennis title
China beat Germany 3-0 to win the gold medal in the men's team table tennis event in Beijing, adding the title to the women's team crown won on Sunday.
Boasting the world's top three players, China were rarely troubled by the German trio.
South Korea defeated Austria 3-1 in the bronze medal match.
"It was our strategy that we must win this gold medal because that demonstrates the power of our country," said coach Liu Guoliang.
"We have accomplished just one half of our pre-set target, the future battles will be even more difficult, even more challenging but we will try our utmost to win all of the gold medals."
Germany's rising star Dimitrij Ovtcharov, 19, said: "So we are very very happy, at this moment, this is the maximum that you can reach in the team event.
"China, they are the best team in the world, you have to accept it."
