Drinkhall has one more chance to qualify for Beijing
Britain's Paul Drinkhall missed the chance to book an Olympic place at the European Table Tennis qualifying tournament in Nantes.
The 18-year-old from Middlesbrough lost to Poland's Daniel Gorak on Friday.
The British number one, who is ranked 194th in the world, was then beaten 4-3 by France's Damien Eloi on Saturday.
Drinkhall will try to book one of the remaining two Olympic places at the World Qualifying Tournament in Budapest, which starts on 8 May.
No Briton has won a medal since table tennis became part of the Olympic programme in 1988.
