Andrew Bree has qualified for the Beijing Olympics

Northern Ireland's Andrew Bree set a new Irish record of two minutes, 04.43 seconds in the 200 metres individual medley in Nashville on Sunday night.

The Helen's Bay swimmer won the 200m breaststroke at the summer invitational meeting, setting a time of 2:14.32.

On Friday Bree broke his own Irish 100m breaststroke record with 1:1.83.

Beijing-bound Bree received a warning last month after his use of an over-the-counter decongestant led to him failing a drugs test.
