Only Steve Williams remains from the line-up that secured Matthew Pinsent's fourth successive Olympic gold four years ago.

After a 27-race unbeaten run since Athens, things have not been so easy.

They missed out on world gold last year for the first time in a decade, and with competition for places hot, Alex Partridge was replaced by Welshman Tom James.

Coach Jurgen Grobler will hope his four can turn it around in Beijing.
