Great Britain's women avenged defeat by Germany as they humbled the current Olympic and World champions 4-1 to win the Setanta Trophy in Dublin.
Britain lost 2-1 to the Germans earlier in the tournament, but Sarah Thomas scored from close range and a Charlotte Craddock tap-in put them in control.
After the break Rachel Walker stabbed home and Crista Cullen scored directly from a penalty corner.
Anke Kuhn eventually grabbed a late consolation for Germany.
The pair will meet again in their opening match of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
"This was a very good first half performance with some good incisive play," said GB head coach Danny Kerry.
"In the second half, we set out to work on a few things with the first pool game in the Olympics in mind, which upset the rhythm and Germany played well.
"We rode the storm somewhat and held on to a good winning margin."
