England will stage the 2010 Women's Champions Trophy for the world's top six nations, the International Hockey Federation has announced.
The competition will take place at the Highfields Hockey Centre in Nottingham, over nine days in July of that year.
England Hockey also hosted the 2007 EuroHockey Nations Championships.
UK Sport's Simon Morton said: "It will provide an ideal opportunity to play against the top hockey nations in the world as preparation for London 2012."
Britain's men's and women's teams will both be competing at the Beijing Olympics in August.
