GB held despite Mantell hat-trick

Richard Mantell grabbed a hat-trick for Great Britain as they fought out an exciting 4-4 draw with world champions Germany in Essen.

Having drawn the opening match of the best-of-three series 2-2, Britain found themselves two down in four minutes.

Matt Daly and Mantell brought them level, only for Germany to move in front again just before the interval.

But Mantell netted a penalty and then completed his treble, only for Matthias Witthaus to save the home side.
