Ireland's women's hockey team were beaten 2-0 by Spain in Terassa on Wednesday in the second match of their short tour.
The Irish drew the opening game 1-1 but they conceded an early goal as Comerma fired past goalkeeper Mary Goode.
Nikki Symmons went close for Ireland from a penalty corner but Spain led 1-0 at the interval.
Cathy McKean and Stephanie Quinn went close to equalising but a second Spanish goal made the game safe.
Despite Wednesday's defeat, Irish coach Gene Muller was content with the displays in the two games against the world's eighth-ranked nation.
"We conceded goal off organisational errors, both matches have been very close and we have improved over the past two months playing against higher ranked opponents," added Muller.
The Irish team travel home on Wednesday evening.
