Chen Yibing made it five gold medals out of five for China in the men's gymnastics as the hosts claimed a one-two in the men's rings final.

Chen, the two-time rings world champion, won the gold with a score of 16.600 points on Monday.

All-around champion Yang Wei was not as impressive as in his previous rings routines but still did enough to take second with 16.425 points.

The bronze medal went to Oleksandr Vorobiov of Ukraine.
