Video - South Korea win badminton mixed doubles

South Korea's Lee Hyojung and Lee Yongdae took gold in the badminton mixed doubles, defeating Indonesia's Liliyana Natsir and Nova Widianto.

The unseeded South Koreans carved out a 21-11, 21-17 straight sets victory against the Indonesian world champions.

Meanwhile, China's He Hanbin and Yu Yang won bronze, beating Indonesia's Flandy Limpele and Vita Marissa.

In an exciting match, the Chinese fourth seeds won 19-21, 21-17, 23-21 at a packed Beijing University.

Hyojung and Yongdae, ranked 10th in the world and conquerors of Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms in the quarter-final, outclassed the top seeds in the first game, winning easily with a mixture of speed and intelligent net play.

And 27-year-old Hyojung takes home one gold and one silver in this tournament after losing to China's champions in the women's doubles.

South Korea have also won bronze at this tournament, Lee Jae Jin and Hwang Ji Man taking the medal in the men's doubles.
