It is amazing what an authoritarian government can achieve in just a few short years.
A few days ago, China proudly unveiled a gigantic new terminal at Beijing's over-crowded airport.
It is the world's biggest building, but took just four years to plan and build.
That is about the same amount of time it took to organise and conduct the public inquiry into the soon-to-be-opened Terminal Five at London's Heathrow.
