Reigning Olympic mountain bike champion Julien Absalon has had his first taste of the London 2012 circuit. The 4.6 km course is largely man-made and is set in the grounds of Hadleigh Castle in Essex.
Talking about his first and last opportunity to trial the course ahead of the London Olympics, Julien told the BBC how he thinks it differs from previous Olympic venues.
"It's a new generation of track, with a lot of artificial parts - it's more spectacular," he said.
