Fighting to fly the flag for Kosovo

The 2009 World Judo Junior Champion is hoping to become the first Olympic athlete to represent the Republic of Kosovo at London 2012.

Majlinda Kelmendi may not be a name we're all that familiar with, but in the small city of Peja, Kosovo, she is quickly becoming a celebrity.

After attending Asdreni Primary School, named after one of Albania's most famous poets, Majlinda continued her senior school studies at Ali Hadri Secondary School, also in Peja.

Majlinda first arrived at Ali Hadri in 2006 when she was 14, and has managed to balance her studies and judo with the help of one very inspirational teacher...
