British number one Gillings is ranked sixth in the world
Isle of Man snowboarder Zoe Gillings has reached the quarter-finals of the penultimate FIS World Cup event in La Molina, Spain.
The 23-year-old qualified with the sixth fastest time out of 32 competitors over two runs.
The British number one will go in the third of Friday's quarter-finals.
Gillings is currently ranked sixth in the overall FIS standings but strong results in the final two rounds could see her break into the top three.
The Manx star is widely considered to be one of Britain's best hopes for a medal at the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010.
