Tyrone made it back-to-back wins in Division Two thanks to a strong display in the second half at Healy Park.

A Tomas McCann goal right at the end of the first half gave Antrim a 1-8 to 1-6 lead at the interval.

Tyrone had led for the first time in the 24th minute when Sean Cavanagh scored a goal after a pass from his brother brother Colm.

Before that Kevin Hughes landed three points for Tyrone and they racked up seven without replay after half-time.

Sean Cavanagh started the sequence with a free and there were also scores for David Harte, Stephen O'Neill, Conor Gormley, Martin Penrose and Hughes again.

Antrim did not score in the second half until the 20th minute when McCann added to his tally.

They also got late scores through Mark Sweeney and Paddy Cunningham but Tyrone were already home and dry.

"I thought we should have been ahead at half-time but when we got out noses in front in the second half we played with control," said winning manager Mickey Harte.
