Cassidy and Hegarty in McGuinness' Donegal panel

Jim McGuinness guided Donegal to this year's All-Ireland Under-21 final

New Donegal manager Jim McGuinness has included Kevin Cassidy and Michael Hegarty in his squad for next month's McKenna Cup.

Cassidy had announced his intention to retire after Donegal's Championship exit this year while Hegarty was not part of the 2010 panel.

McGuinness has included several of this year's under-21 team.

These include Peter Boyle, Thomas McKinley, Daniel McLaughlin, Kevin Mulhern and Antoin McFadden.

Johnny Bonner and Marty Boyle have also received call-ups after starring in Naomh Conaill's run to last Sunday's Ulster club football final.
