Glenties edged out Coalisland in the Ulster semi-finals

Sunday's AIB Ulster Club football final has been postponed following a pitch inspection at St Tiernach's Park, Clones on Friday morning. The match between Crossmaglen Rangers and Naomh Conaill of Donegal has been rearranged for Sunday, 12 December. The winners had been scheduled to play Neasden Gaels of London in the All-Ireland quarter-finals on that day, so a new date for that has to be arranged. The intermediate and junior finals have also been postponed. On Thursday, Ulster Council PRO Oliver Galligan ruled out the use of an alternative venue for the senior decider. "If Clones isn't right, it's unlikely that another venue would be right. If Cavan and Clones aren't playable, there wouldn't be anywhere else playable in Ulster," he said.
