Derry forward Eoin Bradley's 48-week suspension arising from a post-match incident at a club championship game last month has been halved to 24 weeks.

The decision, taken earlier this week following a hearing, means that Bradley will be available to new Derry manager John Brennan at the end of February.

Bradley clashed with a referee following his club Glenullin's defeat by Ballinascreen.

Bradley was in line to miss all of next year's NFL and Ulster Championship.

The Derry forward will be ruled out of Ireland's International Rules squad.
