Tyrone boss Raymond Munroe must plan for the All Ireland Minor final without goalkeeper Mark McReynolds who has a broken leg
Tyrone goalkeeper Mark McReynolds will miss the All-Ireland Minor Football decider against Cork on 19 September.
McReynolds sustained an ankle injury while playing for his club Naomh Mhuire in the Tyrone minor club championship.
Tyrone minor boss Raymond Munroe confirmed on Tuesday evening that McReynolds would miss the game.
His number one spot will go to either Colm Spiers or Ryan Clarke while Thomas Canavan and Enda McGahan are also fitness doubts.
McReynolds has been in tremendous form for Munroe's side in this year's Championship.
"Unfortunately the physio got a look at the x-rays, and the break is in a very bad spot, and it has completely ruled him out," said Munroe.
"It's very unfortunate for Mark on a personal level, but this past number of years we have always carried three goalkeepers in our panel.
"The other two fellows have done the same amount of work as Mark. Okay, they haven't got the same amount of game time."
Centre-forward Canavan has been unable to take a full part in training since suffering an ankle injury in the semi-final win over Mayo.
"Tommy tore ligaments in an ankle and he hasn't trained fully yet," added Munroe.
"We'll do everything we can to get him ready, he has been back doing a wee bit of jogging, but hasn't taken part in any contact."
McGahan, who has made regular substitute appearances during the campaign, is another major doubt after picking up a shoulder injury in a club game.
