|
Ulster secured a record 29th M Donnelly Interprovincial Football crown after beating Munster in the Ruislip decider on Sunday. Paddy Bradley, Michael Murphy and Kevin Hughes each scored two points as Ulster led 0-8 to 0-4 at the break. But Munster hit back with Gary Hurney's goal three minutes into the second half helping Munster go ahead. Ulster finished strongly and fired over the final five points of the game with Daniel Hughes getting two. Armagh captain Ciaran McKeever was taken off the field by ambulance after suffering a leg injury early in the game. The injury was not as serious as first feared although McKeever required crutches after leaving hospital.
