Conor McManus starred in Clontibret's two-point win
|
A spirited fightback by Dromore fell just short as Clontibret won by two points to book an Ulster club semi-final meeting with St Gall's. Clontibret established an early four-point lead with the passed-fit Conor McManus getting two of the scores. Dromore battled back with Colm McCullagh and Eoin McCusker landing several frees and late in the secnod half the gap was cut to a single point. But the Tyrone club suffered a late blow when McCullagh was sent-off. McCullagh had been lining up a free when he was shown a second yellow card by the referee, apparently for something he said to the official.
