Pearse Og 0-8 0-4 Armagh Harps

Charlie Vernon and Anton Duffy
Armagh Harps' Charlie Vernon battles with Anton Duffy in Sunday's game

Pearse Og justified their favouritism as they defeated their Armagh city rivals Harps in Sunday's disappointing Lucozade Armagh SFC final.

Two Marc Cullen points helped Ogs lead 0-3 to 0-1 early on but Ultan Lennon's three scores helped Harps level at 0-4 to 0-4 at the break.

However, Harps failed to score in the second half as Ogs took control.

Anton Duffy hit two scores and Cullen brought his tally up to five as Ogs set an Ulster quarter-final with St Gall's.

However, Ogs will have to play better to have a prolonged Ulster campaign - although the wet conditions at the Athletic Grounds contributed to the drab nature of Sunday's contest.

Pearse Og's last Armagh title came in 1992 - a year after Harps' previous triumph.
