Down champions Ballycran clinched a place in the Ulster hurling club final against Dunloy after this victory at Casement Park on Sunday. Ballycran netted first through James Coyle but Liam Craig scored a goal just before the break to leave Kevin Lynch's trailing 1-8 to 1-6 at the interval. Paddy McCloskey brought the Derry side level with a 33rd minute goal. But Ballycran hit back three minutes later as Coyle bagged his second goal and the Down men went on to win.
