New faces in Antrim McKenna squad

Liam Bradley is the new Antrim manager
Liam Bradley took over from Jody Gormley as Antrim manager

Liam Bradley has included 14 newcomers in his Antrim panel for the forthcoming Gaelic Life Dr McKenna Cup campaign.

The new Saffrons manager is without long-term injury victim Kevin Niblock, Joe Quinn, who has retired, and Sean Kelly who should be back for the NFL.

Bradley will also be missing James Loughrey, Justin Crozier, Sean Burke, Michael Pollock, Thomas McCann, CJ McGourty and Kevin O'Boyle.

These players will all line out for their colleges instead.

Former Derry selector Bradley was named Antrim manager in succession to Jody Gormley.

Meanwhile new Derry boss Damian Cassidy has announced a 27-strong panel for the competition.

The squad includes a number of young prospects and Cathal McKeever who plays his club football in Tyrone with Carrickmore.
