The AIB Ulster Club Footballl Championship clash between Clonoe and St Eunan's on Sunday has been switched from Omagh to Coalisland (1430 GMT).

Clonoe had requested that the game should be postponed but their plea was rejected by the Ulster Council.

Damien Cassidy's Clonoe will be playing their fourth game in as many weeks.

"Crossmaglen got latitude because Aaron Kernan is in Australia and that is right and proper. Our request didn't even get a hearing," said Cassidy.

Cassidy, who was recently appointed as Derry senior county boss, added that delaying his side's game for seven days would "not have unduly affected the running of the competition".

"It's a pity that we were not afforded the opportunity of a postponement for a week but we can do nothing about it at this stage.

"We'll be back hell for leather this weekend and we just have to get on with it.

"We're in the Ulster Club Championship and it's not a bad position for our boys to be in."

Clonoe defeated holders Dromore 0-10 to 0-9 after extra-time in Sunday's Tyrone SFC decider.

  • Radio Ulster medium wave will feature coverage of the Ulster Club Championship on Sunday at 1415 GMT.
