Brian McIver had indicated he would remain as manager

The Donegal football squad plans to set up a players committee to liaise with the county board and it wants a say in the selection of future managers.
The squad has criticised the county board following Brian McIver's resignation as manager last week.
In a statement the panel said it could make a "positive contribution" in the selection process.
And liasing with the county board has the aim of "avoiding any future breakdowns in communication".
The squad expressed "its dissatisfaction with the dismissal of Brian McIver as team manager".
The statement added: "We believe the county board¿s actions were unfair and the manner of his removal ¿ through a vote of no confidence ¿ left a lot to be desired.
"We would like to thank Brian sincerely for his efforts over the past three years ¿ a period which was marked by the county¿s first ever National Football League title.
"Following Brian¿s removal, it is the squad¿s intention now to seek representation in the selection process for any future managerial appointments.
"We believe we can make a positive contribution in this regard by bringing our experience to the table.
"We will also be setting up a players committee to liaise regularly with the county board on all player-related issues with the aim of avoiding any future breakdowns in communication and to improve relations between both bodies."
McIver quit the job after prominent Donegal clubs St Eunan's and Gweedore called for his departure at a county board meeting.
Charlie Mulgrew and John Joe Doherty are being linked with the vacant job.
