Mayobridge in semi-finals again

Benny Coulter scored the first goal for Mayobridge

Mayobridge are into their eighth successive Down SFC semi-final after a convincing win over Bryansford at Hiltown on Sunday.

A Benny Coulter goal helped Mayobridge square things at the interval while Noel Sexton netted the other goal five minutes from time.

In Saturday night's game, a late Paul Greenan goal for Kilcoo secured a 1-6 to 1-6 draw against Burren.

The replay will take place in Newry on Thursday night (2000 BST).

Loughinisland booked a place in the semi-finals earlier on Saturday after beating Downpatrick 1-11 to 0-7.

Ben O'Reilly hit four points to help Loughinisland into a 0-7 to 0-3 lead at the break in Newcastle before Michael Valentine scored the only goal on 40 minutes.

Savel beat Liatroim 1-13 to 1-8 in the opening quarter-final on Friday.

Stephen Sands scored a goal and four points for Saval at Burren.
