Kilkenny stayed on course for three successive All-Ireland Senior Hurling titles as they beat great rivals Cork in Sunday's semi-final at Croke Park.
Henry Shefflin hit nine points for the Cats as they controlled the encounter.
After tight opening exchanges, Eoin Larkin's 29th-minute goal helped Kilkenny lead 1-9 to 0-6.
After trailing by eight at the break, Cork reduced Kilkenny's lead to five after 47 minutes but the superb Cats were never in danger of being caught.
Kilkenny will face either Tipperary or Waterford in next month's final.
