Goals from Peter McCann, Caolan Daly and Emmet McKenna helped Eglish beat Cookstown 3-6 to 2-7 to reach the quarter-finals of the Tyrone SFC.

Jason Quinn netted for Cookstown in first-half stoppage-time and John Gilmore added another after the break.

Damien Kelly and Des Treacy were the goalscorers as Kildress beat Galbally 2-9 to 0-9.

Ardboe beat Aghyaran by 1-11 to 0-8 while Carrickmore had an easy 1-14 to 0-2 over Loughmacrory.

In the first of the double bill at Killyclogher, Martin McKeown blasted home a superb Ardboe goal on 20 minutes to set up a 1-6 to 0-4 interval advantage.

Brian and Tommy McGuigan and Kyle Coney added to the Ardboe tally in the second half, while Aghyaran's Anthony Devine brought his tally to four and Martin Penrose finished with three.

Aghyaran finished with 13 men after Johnny McMenamin (two yellow) and Brian McHugh (straight red) were sent-off in the closing stages.

It was too easy for Carrickmore against parish neighbours Loughmacrory.

Carrickmore led by 0-6 to 0-1 at half-time but, with eight wides, should have been further in front.

Ciaran McKeever and Brendan Martin both scored twice, with Loughmacrory's only score coming from a Ronan Ward free.

Despite losing centre-forward Ciaran McKeever to a second yellow card 10 minutes from the end, Carrickmore conceded just one point in the second period.
