Mark Lynch hit sevens points for Banagher against Loup

Slaughtneil and Lavey both had narrow victories in the Elk Derry Football Championship on Wednesday night.

Slaughtneil edged past Castledawson 0-12 to 1-8 while Lavey shaded their match with Craigbane 0-14 to 0-13.

On Tuesday, Ballinascreen and Banagher both booked their places in the last eight of the competition.

Banagher's 0-10 to 1-7 draw against Loup was enough to earn their quarter-final berth with Mark Lynch hitting seven Banagher points.

Seamus Bradley hit 2-5 as Ballinascreen defeated Coleraine 2-12 to 0-8.

Sean Mikey O'Neill scored Loup's first-half goal in Tuesday's match.

Dungiven defeated Bellaghy 2-14 to 2-10 in Monday night's game.

Dungiven turned a three-point half-time deficit into a four-point win, with Paul Murphy highly influential.

Bellaghy led 0-3 to 0-2 early on but Conor Doherty palmed the ball into the net to give Bellaghy a 1-7 to 0-7 lead at half-time.

Eunan Murphy netted to level the scores and Paul Diamond scored a goal but Fergal McGuigan's goal and a succession of points secured Dungiven's victory.
