Down handed qualifier in Offaly

Ross Carr's Down team will be away to Offaly on 19 July

Beaten Ulster semi-finalists Down have been drawn away to Offaly in the first round of the All-Ireland qualifiers.

After losing by four points to Armagh in the provincial final, manager Ross Carr will be hoping to lift spirits ahead of the 19 July Tullamore clash.

Monaghan will play Derry at Clones in the only all-Ulster pairing.

Tyrone travel to Louth, Donegal are at home to Roscommon and Cavan must travel to Kildare while in the Tommy Murphy Cup Antrim entertain Carlow.

Tommy Murphy Cup quarter-finals

In hurling, Antrim lost the draw for home advantage and will travel to Waterford in the second round of the qualifiers on 5 July.
