Joe Kernan is the BBC's sideline analyst

Joe Kernan joins the talented BBC team when the Ulster Senior Football Championship swings into action on Sunday.

One of the province's most-recognised personalities, Kernan led Armagh to Sam Maguire success in 2002 and Crossmaglen to three All-Ireland club titles.

Master tactician Kernan will be the BBC sideline analyst and will start with Sunday's game between Antrim and Cavan.

He will also be putting forward his views on the Championship website.

Also new to the BBC team is two-times All Star Enda Gormley who was part of Derry's historic All-Ireland winning team.

Gormley will be summarising alongside commentator Mark Sidebottom throughout the Championship.

Austin O'Callaghan will be presenting the live action from Casement Park with the progamme starting at 1530 BST, 15 minutes before throw-in.

In the studio before, during and after will be the usual friendly rivalry of Martin McHugh and Jarlath Burns who will be making some pertinent points about the game.

BBC2 NI will be screening seven games in the 2008 Ulster Senior Football Championship starting with Sunday's preliminary round clash.

Fermanagh v Monaghan is next up in the first round while BBC NI will also be broadcasting live Donegal v Derry and Armagh v Antrim or Cavan.

You can watch the semi-finals on 21 June and 29 June and the decider at Clones or Casement Park on 20 July.
