Derry claimed a superb comeback victory over their Ulster rivals in the Allianz NHL Division 2B clash at Banagher.
Down led 2-7 to 0-2 after 12 minutes with Gareth Johnson and Ciaran Coulter scoring the goals for the Mourne team.
Derry reduced the gap to 2-11 to 0-9 at the break before dominating the second half, with Ruairi Convery getting the first of his two goals from a penalty.
Johnson netted on 69 minutes to put Down ahead but Convery's second goal in the final minute won it for Derry.
