Waterford handed Antrim a 3-29 to 3-10 thrashing in Sunday's Allianz NHL game.
The Decies' early blitz included Dan Shanahan's goal as they led 1-10 to 0-1 against the shellshocked Saffrons.
Simon McCrory's goal helped reduce the lead to 1-14 to 1-5 but Shanahan then struck a second goal as Waterford hit 1-6 without reply before the break.
Eoin Kelly scored Waterford's third goal but while Karl Stewart hit one of two Antrim second-half goals, it was a chastening day for the Saffrons.
Waterford got into their stride immediately with Declan Prendergast, Ken McGrath, Eoin Kelly and Shanahan on the mark before Shanahan slammed in his opening goal in the 10th minute.

Brian Quinn opened Antrim's account in the 14th minute but three more McGrath points helped the home side lead 1-10 to 0-1.
Two points from Liam Watson signalled some brief Antrim resistance which also included Simon McCrory's goal and points from Paddy Magill and Quinn.
But Waterford opened up to hit an unanswered 1-6 before the break with Prendergast bringing up his first-half tally to three and Shanahan hammering in his second three-pointer.
Inevitably, Waterford took their foot somewhat off the pedal in the second half as they hit 1-9 against Antrim's 2-5.
Antrim goalkeeper Ryan McGarry also made two magnificant saves to stop seemingly certain goals while Sean Delargy bravely battled in in the harassed Saffron defence.
Eoin Kelly scored Waterford's third goal while Karl Stewart kicked Antrim's second three-pointer and the Saffrons also poached a late third goal as the home team's concentration waned.
The result leaves the Saffrons on two points from three games with their final two fixtures against Cork and Kilkenny coming up over the next month.
