Kevin McKernan hit 1-4 as Burren beat Warrenpoint 1-9 to 0-7 in Sunday's second match in the Powerade Down SFC.

McKernan's goal helped Burren lead 1-6 to 0-2 at half-time and while Gary Boyle hit four Warrenpoint scores, the winners were always in control.

Also on Sunday, two goals in the second half by Stevie Doran helped Longstone beat Drumgath 2-17 to 1-5.

Mark Brannigan's penalty helped Drumgath remain level at half-time -1-4 to 0-7 - before Longstone pulled clear.

Barry Doran also hit nine points for Longstone.

On Monday champions Mayobridge will face Atticall at Burren (1930) while Rostrevor face Annaclone at Drumgath (1930).

On Saturday Loughinisland edged out Newry Shamrocks 0-9 to 0-6 at Newcastle.

The winners led 0-4 to 0-3 at half-time and Ryan Stranney contributed four points as his side held on with Dan Gordon also getting on the scoresheet.

Finbarr Rice's first-half goal helped Castlewellan beat An Riocht 1-15 to 1-10 in Saturday's second game.

Castlewellan led 1-10 to 0-3 at the break and while Aidan Flanagan's goal gave An Riocht hope, Wellan held on.

Gregory McCartan hit two points for Castlewellan in the first half and his midfield partnership with Fintan McGreevy during the opening period was crucial to his side's victory.

However, John Clarke's two points after half-time gave An Riocht hope and with Paddy Cole also notching three points, Castlewellan's lead dwindled.

But with Fintan McGreevy finishing with three points and Cathal Crilly contributing four scores, Castlewellan held on to win.

Bryansford beat Clonduff 1-8 to 1-6 on Friday night while Kilcoo drew 0-10 to 1-7 against Liatroim on Thursday night.

Despite having only 14 men for the entire second half, Bryansford ran out winners in Friday evening's game.

Ciaran McLaughlin was sent-off two minutes before the half-time whistle sounded with Bryansford 1-4 to 1-3 up.

Clonduff took the lead with two points from Jason Brown but three points by Chris Brannigan and one from Simon Gribben swung it for Bryansford.

Timmy Hanna got Bryansford's goal with Shane Ward netting a Clonduff penalty.

Kilcoo came from six points down to draw 0-10 to 1-7 against Liatroim in the opening game on Thursday.

Liatroim led 1-7 to 0-4 at half-time with the goal coming when Aidan O'Prey's sideline ball was fumbled into the net in the 26th minute.

However, three Sean Kelly frees helped Kilcoo fight back and Anthony Devlin's injury-time '45 ensured Tuesday's replay at Hilltown (1900 BST).
