Despite having only 14 men for the entire second half, Bryansford ran out 1-8 to 1-6 winners over Clonduff in Friday night's Down SFC match.
Ciaran McLaughlin was sent-off two minutes before the half-time whistle sounded with Bryansford 1-4 to 1-3 up.
Clonduff took the lead with two points from Jason Brown but three points by Chris Brannigan and one from Simon Gribben swung it for Bryansford.
Timmy Hanna got Bryansford's goal with Shane Ward netting a Clonduff penalty.
On Thursday, Kilcoo came from six points down to draw 0-10 to 1-7 against Liatroim in the opening Powerade Down SFC game.
Liatroim led 1-7 to 0-4 at half-time with the goal coming when Aidan O'Prey's sideline ball was fumbled into the net in the 26th minute.
However, three Sean Kelly frees helped Kilcoo fight back and Anthony Devlin's injury-time '45 ensured Tuesday's replay at Hilltown (1900 BST).
Saturday's double-header at Newcastle sees Newry Shamrocks taking on Loughinisland (1700) and An Riocht facing Castlewellan (1830).
On Sunday at Newry, Drumgath face Longstone (1700) and Burren meet Warrenpoint (1830) while champions Mayobridge are in action on Monday.
Mayobridge will face Atticall at Burren (1930) while Rostrevor face Annaclone at Drumgath (1930).
