Ryan Keenan of Fermanagh under pressure against Wexford
Fermanagh secured their first win of 2007 to go through to the second round of the All-Ireland qualifiers.

The two goals came in the first three minutes with James Sherry tapping in only for Wexford's Redmond Barry to equalise within seconds.

Ciaran O'Reilly landed four frees as Fermanagh led 1-7 to 1-4 at half-time.

Points in the second half from Eamon Maguire, Mark Lyttle and substitutes Tom Brewster and Sean Doherty (2) saw Charlie Mulgrew's men home.

So victory at last for Fermanagh after losing all seven of their National League fixtures and going out to Tyrone in the Ulster Championship.

"We have had a bad year but it is great to get a win," said Erne County boss Mulgrew.

"Our performances in the league were not us. We suffered a steep decline and did not have a lot of time to turn things around.

"We still have plenty to work on because we should have had the game sewn up sooner."
