Dessie and John Paul Mone from the Clontibret club have returned to the Monaghan senior football panel.
The pair opted out of inter-county football 18 months ago but their return will be a boost for Seamus McEnaney.
Dessie had an outstanding year at club level in 2006 and received the Senior Footballer of the Year accolade.
John Paul also had an excellent year and both players were instrumental in the Senior Football Championship returning to Clontibret.
